Saturday sees the start of the Flights at Browns Lake Golf Course. Golfers of all levels converge upon the course to test their skills against others. Broken down into three flights based on handicaps, players in each group test their mettle on the same course played by the championship flight the previous day in hopes of securing a position in the final group on Sunday.
While the Flights battle at Browns, the Championship Flight moves to Ives Grove Golf Links for Round 2 of the tournament. Set to play the Red and Blue nines at Ives, players typically stare down long bunker shots and strong winds as they examine their fortitude and resilience in the face of worthy opponents and a challenging cut line.
